Homesteading the Noosphere

This is about the different notions of people about open source. Some people might say that with open source they can create beautiful programs, but some people can say that they respect the people using open source. They also vary according to what they desire to do in using open source. If you are developer, you might say that you would love to use open source and its benefits in doing your passion. It also varies according to what we believed. For example, a person who is anti commercial might say that he write free software for companies not to gain money from people. Instead the people will buy to a commercial company, he will try to look for that free software since it is merely free.

The hacker culture came from what they call very zealous and very anti commercial. A person who is very zealous thinks what he can do to other people by doing his passion in creating beautiful applications. While, a person who is very anti commercial creates open source for people not to support companies who are offering products or applications that needed to pay because for them it is a way of stealing money from people.
