Revenge of the Hackers
The author of this book mentioned that the hacker culture that he long to observed is already alive. Before, there are no web and internet that some hackers wanted for them to be able to do their own stuff. But, when web came, they have seen that the hacker culture is present. He also says that he is now part of the community where there is sharing of knowledge. Everything is free and no limitations of it. While reading the essay, I can say that I feel the passion of this author when he is writing the essay. He have this kind of passion that’s why he have written this kind of essay that he is greatly affected.
Brooks’s Law predicts that a project with thousands of contributors ought to be a flaky, unstable mess. It is also said that linux community had beaten it since we never thought that if there are many people who will contribute will come to a success project. But they have proved it that with many people, the project became successful. It contradicts with the Brook’s Law.
